Staff members walk the streets of downtown Spokane
looking to meet homeless youth. Outreach is a great
opportunity to meet with the kids in their own environment,
find out what needs they may have and let them know
we are available to help.
Drop-in
A safe environment
off the streets
Drop-in times provide staff the opportunity to
sit down with a youth, away from the busyness
of the streets. Services that are provided are:
Emergency Clothing Room
Meals
Laundry
Shower
Fun Activities
Mentoring
One on one
relationships
Mentoring times are great times for the staff
to show the love of Jesus. These times are often
spent celebrating birthdays or other occasions,
visiting the youth in the hospital or jail, helping
the youth receive services from other agencies,
job hunting, or just going out for coffee. Our hope
is that each young person we get to know better
is also getting to know Jesus better and being empowered
to exit street life.
Discipleship
Experiencing
God through His Word
One night a week CCW offers a Bible study where
youth can gather together and ask questions about
God. We provide this time so that kids can get to
know God better through His Word.
Adventure Activities
Exposure to
outdoor adventures
The activities are designed to allow the kids
to be kids and to expose them to Christ by having
fun without drugs or alcohol. Some activities
we do are:
Mighty Rock Ranch
Summer Camp
Softball games
Christmas Party
Art days
